Lauren Stone
Director of Corporate Social Responsibility, Walgreens
Lauren is passionate about helping companies amplify their impact. She joined Walgreens in 2006 after completing her degree in psychology from Washington University in Saint Louis and now serves as Director of Corporate Social Responsibility. Her responsibilities include managing Walgreens CSR strategy and internal governance. She also ensures alignment with the global Walgreens Boots Alliance CSR strategy and initiatives.
Lauren’s role allows her to work across all departments within Walgreens to embed CSR philosophy into each department’s initiatives and ways of working. Previously, Lauren served as Walgreens first Ethical Sourcing Manager, creating a preventive ethical sourcing program. Lauren currently serves on the Social Sustainability Committee of the Consumer Goods Forum and on the International WELL Buildings Institute Mind Advisory.
Lauren is fascinated by the role that large companies play as global citizens, and how the interaction between government and private industry can drive innovation and progress.
