  • Fat Rice
    • What: Drawing influence from the Euro-Asian regions of China, India, and Southeast Asia, the menu items at Fat Rice combine homestyle comfort with exotic ingredients and flavors. Dishes include a number of curries, hand-made noodles, and wood-grilled meats, all served hot and spicy in a comfortable family-style setting.

    • Directions from Loyola: Hop on the Red Line heading south towards 63rd/Ashland. Exit at the Jackson stop and transfer to the Blue Line towards O’Hare. Jump off at the Logan Square stop and walk two blocks north on Kedzie to Diversey. Make a right on Diversey; Fat Rice will be located four blocks east on your right!

  • Wolfbait & B-Girls
    • What: Wolfbait & B-Girls is not only where Chicago shops, but also where Chicago sells. Opened by fashion designers Shirley Kienitz and Jenny Stadler, Wolfbait & B-Girls remains steadfast in its goal of supporting local designers and bringing Chicago fashion to the masses. Stop by to find unique and practical clothing, accessories, and one-of-a-kind handmade treasures.

    • Directions from Loyola: Jump on the Red Line heading south towards 63rd/Ashland. Exit at the Jackson stop and transfer to the Blue Line towards O’Hare. Hop off at the Logan Square stop and walk two blocks south on Milwaukee until you reach Logan Boulevard. Wolfbait & B-Girls will be located around the roundabout on your left!

  • The Logan Theater
    • What: Opened in 1915 as the Paramount Theater, the Logan Theater offers affordable tickets for mid-run films, independent movies, as well as special presentations of Hollywood classics. Flex your movie muscles every Tuesday at 8 p.m. when the theater hosts their Movie Trivia Night, and be sure to visit them throughout the month of October, when they’ll be showing a number of Halloween classics!
