Philosophy Colloquium: Dr. Anton Ford
Please join us for a Philosophy Colloquium on Thursday, November 14! We are delighted to welcome Dr. Anton Ford from the University of Chicago, who will give a talk entitled "The Question What To Do". This event will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in Cuneo 311. It is free to attend, and all are welcome to join.

The Loyola Phenomenology Research Group is pleased to welcome Dr. Mérédith Laferté-Coutu from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. On Friday, October 25, Dr. Laferté-Coutu will give a talk entitled "Taking the Land for Granted: A Phenomenological Account of Settler Subjectivity and Affective Responses to Indigenous Presence in Canada and the U.S."
The talk will take place from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on the 4th Floor of the Information Commons. A reception will follow in the lobby outside of the Philosophy Department on the third floor of the Crown Center. We hope to see you there!

Please join us on Tuesday, October 15 for the 6th Annual Philosophy Faculty Debate! The debate will take place at 6pm in Cuneo 210.
This year's topic is "Should We Maintain Civility in Political Discourse?", which will be debated by Dr. David Ingram and Dr. Brandon Morgan-Olsen. There will be free pizza and all are welcome. We hope to see you there!
