The Beijing Center was ranked as the 5th highest student-rated program from over 9,000 programs on Abroad 101!

The Office for International Programs is proud to announce that The Beijing Center has been ranked the 5th highest student-rated program by Abroad101, America's first and largest study abroad review website.  

Loyola ranks No. 24 for Peace Corps volunteers

For the fourth year in a row, Loyola made the cut for mid-sized U.S. universities that produce the most Peace Corps volunteers. Loyola ranks No. 24 on this year’s list, with 13 undergraduate alumni now serving overseas as Peace Corps volunteers. Since the Peace Corps was created in 1961, more than 450 Loyola graduates have served as volunteers in the organization.  

Loyola University Chicago Announces 2015-2016 Ricci Scholars

Eight Loyola sophomores have been chosen as the 2015-2016 Ricci Scholars. These students who will spend an academic year studying, conducting research, and traveling in Italy and China. The cohort includes: Angelo Canta, Mary Frank, Annik Lupieri, Emily Marogi, Frieda Rule, Hiba Sheikh, Roohi Singh, and Luis Vargas. Each of these scholars has performed at the highest levels of their class academically and has the support of a faculty mentor.

New Scholarship for Fall John Felice Rome Center Students

The Office for International Program is happy to announce a new scholarship called the Go Global Award for Loyola University Chicago students who intend to study at the JFRC during a fall semester. Students from groups traditionally underrepresented in study abroad (e.g. students with a high degree of financial need; males; first generation college students; students from diverse ethnic backgrounds; and/or students from the STEM fields or other majors who find it challenging to incorporate study abroad into their academic plan) are strongly encouraged to apply. NEW Study Abroad Programs with API, CISabroad, SRAS, and Critical Language Scholarship

The Office of International Programs is now offering study abroad programs with Academic Programs International (API), Center for International Studies (CISabroad), School of Russian and Asian Studies (SRAS), and Critical Language Scholarship. These providers offer more semester, internship and language programs in new countries like Russia, Poland, Bhutan, Croatia, Hungary, and more! Learn more here!

6 Loyola University Chicago Students Awarded Gilman Scholarship!

Six Loyola University Chicago students were awarded the prestigious Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Congratulations to Allison Clark, Beatrice Alleyne, Gustavo Arreguin-Mendoza, Kathleen Meradith, Kellen Nelson-Mann, and Tarrajna Walsh!
