Members of the Division of Student Development along with some student leaders have been exploring a way to help all of us in the Loyola University Chicago community approach conflict with a peacebuilding mentality. To this end, on February 6, we will bring our students together to reflect on how they approach conflict, provide strategies to engage conflict through productive dialogue, and provide connections to area non-profit organizations that focus on community organizing to end social injustices.
Due to recent fire and safety concerns with hoverboards and related devices, Loyola has prohibited their use, storage, and possession ON ALL CAMPUSES. If you currently have one, please store it elsewhere or do not bring it back to campus with you. Loyola is committed to the safety of its community members, thus mitigating risks to students and property is of critical importance. Until these devices’ safety can be better assured, they will remain prohibited. For further information, click this message.
