MASS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Regardless of your faith, this Mass provides an opportunity for all members of the Loyola community to pray for God’s blessing on us. Every Loyolan is invited to attend this Mass, which will invoke the blessings of the Holy Spirit for the academic year.

Running Club Inaugural Run

The first running club meetup of the school year. Anyone interested in running competitively, casually or just staying in shape should come out to see if Running Club is right for you.

Rogers Park & Edgewater Walking Tours
11 a. m.–2 p. m.
Meet at Damen Student Center, 2nd floor, Sister Jean Hall

Take a guided stroll through the surrounding neighborhood with Welcome Week leaders and enjoy a light lunch at a local eatery. Space is limited, so come early. Open to new students only.

Choral Rehearsal for Mass of the Holy Spirit
1–3 p.m., rehearsal Madonna della Strada Chapel
4 p.m., warm-up, Gentile Arena

All students are invited to sing for the Mass of the Holy Spirit at 5 p.m. in Gentile Arena. There are no auditions, just come on out ready to sing and have a good time. All music will be supplied.

You’re officially a Rambler now! So, what does that mean? Come hang out with Welcome Week leaders and Year 1 peer advisors who can explain everything about Loyola—from school traditions, Jesuit values and education, to social justice on campus. And oh yeah, classes start tomorrow! What’s a syllabus? How do I open my mailbox? Where are my classes? How do I address my teachers? Come find the answers to all of these questions and any other question you have about being a student at Loyola.
