Meet in Damen Student Center, Schmidt Multi-Purpose Room
Here's your chance to connect with your classmates and get involved with your new community! We will be doing a variety of service projects around the Rogers Park and Edgewater neighborhoods. The first 200 participants receive a t-shirt and everyone receives lunch. Bring a water bottle and wear clothing that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes.

After picking up your U-Pass**, join Welcome Week Leaders on excursions around Chicago to find YOUR Chicago. Each trip will visit a different area of the city. All trips are free; however, some food and shopping may be available at your own expense.
**U-Pass pick-up starts today (8/22) at 10am in Rambler Room (Centennial Forum). Be sure to pick up your U-Pass before arriving at this event.
Social Sorority & Fraternity Life Info Session

Learn more about the Loyola Sorority/Fraternity community from current members and staff. Whether you know you want to go Greek or you have no idea what it means, this information session will give you all the basics on Sorority & Fraternity Life at Loyola. Parents are welcome.
Hustle to Hoyne
St. Ignatius Community Plaza (intersection of Sheridan & Kenmore)
Meet for a rally on Ignatius Plaza and then march to the Loyola Soccer Park at Hoyne Field to watch the Ramblers take on the Valparaiso Crusaders at 7pm. The parade will be led by students, athletes, coaches and Loyola celebrities! Admission is free, food is available, and all are welcome. Sponsored by Athletics and First-Year Experience.
Saturday Night of Comedy, featuring The Second City!

Chicago is home to some amazing stand-up comedy venues and has served as the launching pad for many of today’s comedic legends. This year's comedy show will feature Chicago's own, The Second City. Sponsored by Student Activities & Greek Affairs.
- Incoming first-year students will receive free tickets in their residence halls
- Returning students, staff, and faculty can pick up tickets in the Damen Student Center Info Desk on Thursday, 8/25 or Friday, 8/26.
- You must present an LUC ID to purchase tickets. Limit 2 tickets per person, per ID. No refunds.

Come out to Loyola's FIRST silent headphone event! Choose your own DJ and music from three separate channels, while you dance the night away with your fellow Ramblers. All music is transmitted through your headphones, so feel free to remove them and engage in conversation and food with friends!
