Loyola University Chicago competes in more than a dozen men's and women's NCAA Division I athletic programs, including:

Team athletic facilities include the Joseph J. Gentile Center—a 5,200-seat arena that features three full-size courts and 18 baskets—soccer and softball fields, and a running track. The new Norville Center for Intercollegiate Athletics is home to a state-of-the-art strength and conditioning center, locker room facilities, a sports medicine center with hydrotherapy features, and administrative offices. The Department of Campus Recreation offers numerous club and intramural sport programs, including:
