Rome Start

Rome Start gives select students the opportunity to spend the first year of their Loyola experience studying at our John Felice Rome Center in Italy. Loyola is now accepting applications from students who are currently attending high school in Rome and/or students who will be living in Rome with parents/guardians during the upcoming academic year. Rome Start begins in Fall 2010.
Admission to the Rome Start program includes admission to Loyola University Chicago. After spending a year at the Rome Center, students will complete their degree program in Chicago. This unique program allows students to gain a global perspective to their education while receiving a renowned Loyola degree.
APPLICATION INFORMATION
Interested students must complete our online application, indicating a freshman fall term start. Students must also submit all supporting credentials (get a complete list of requirements here). Rome Start students should follow the "Freshman Admission Process Steps" as well as steps 1 - 3 indicated under "Additional Instructions for International Students," if these apply.
The priority deadline for admission is December 1. After that date, applications will be reviewed on a rolling admission basis with decisions provided approximately four to six weeks after all credentials are submitted. All candidates are required to finalize enrollment plans by the candidate's reply date of May 1, 2010.
