Transfer Scholarships

Loyola University Chicago offers a variety of scholarships for transfer students.

A Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship of an additional $1,500 per year is offered to students pursuing their associates degree at two-year community colleges. To be eligible, the student must have completed minimum of 45 credits at time of application, earning at minimum 3.0 GPA, attended only one community college, and must enroll at Loyola immediately following the community college. Students with more than one previous institution are not eligible. Proof of Phi Theta Kappa membership must be submitted at time of application.Courses in progress will not be factored into scholarship consideration.

Transfer scholarships are renewable for up to three years if students maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and complete at least 12 credit hours each term. Part-time transfer students and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible.

Note: This transfer scholarship information applies to students entering Loyola beginning Fall 2012 Semester.

Transfer students must complete their application before the priority deadlines to be considered for merit-based scholarship. Priority Deadlines are June 1 for Fall admission and November 1 for Spring admission.
