You are automatically considered for Loyola-based merit scholarships as soon as you submit your admission application. These scholarships are awarded to academically qualified students based on information provided in the admission application process, without regard to financial need.
To be considered for scholarships, applicants must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours of transferable college coursework by the time of admission, and they must submit all application materials by the priority application deadline. Courses in progress and AP credit will not be considered.
Fall 2014 award amounts for new incoming transfer students are as follows:
To be considered for the Phi Theta Kappa(PTK) Scholarship, applicants must have completed 45 transferrable college credits at time of acceptance at a two-year institution. Students with previous enrollment at four-year institutions are not eligible for PTK scholarship. Proof of PTK membership must be submitted with application materials.
Transfer scholarships are renewable for up to three years provided the student maintains the required GPA and full-time status.
