The best way to find out if Loyola is right for you is to visit us and see what campus life is like. Loyola undergraduates study at two campuses in Chicago. We encourage you to visit both campuses, especially if your areas of interest include majors that are at located downtown: Business, Communications, and Social Work. We offer many options for you to learn more. Choose the right one for you from the list below and schedule your visit today!

  • CAMPUS TOURS
  • With a current Loyola student as your guide, take a tour of the University; visit academic facilities, student centers, libraries, and more. Although a transfer residence hall room is not included on the campus tour, you may see transfer housing options, layouts, and amenities on our Residence Life website.

    Lake Shore Campus (Rogers Park)
    Loyola's main campus is set along the shore of Lake Michigan on Chicago's North Side, in a residential neighborhood that is minutes from downtown Chicago and the Water Tower Campus. The Lake Shore Campus (LSC) is conveniently located off of the CTA Red Line – Loyola “L” transit station. If you’re visiting Loyola for the first time, we recommend you start here.

    Location: (LSC) Sullivan Center for Student Services Building, Room 150

    Days/times available: Most Mondays through Friday at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Tours at the Lake Shore Campus last approximately 50 minutes.

    Water Tower Campus (Downtown)
    Loyola's downtown campus is located along Pearson Street, just off of North Michigan Avenue, Chicago's "Magnificent Mile." The Water Tower Campus (WTC) is conveniently located around the corner from the CTA Red Line – Chicago “L” transit station. Undergraduates in select majors complete degree programs here and take advantage of internships at many of Chicago's businesses and cultural institutions.

    Location: (WTC) Schreiber Center, Room 221

    Days/times available: Most Mondays through Fridays at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Tours of the Water Tower Campus last approximately 30 minutes.

  • INFO SESSIONS & OPEN HOUSE
  • FALL OPEN HOUSE

    Loyola’s Fall Open House event is tailored to helping you and your family explore campus and get your questions answered. You'll have the opportunity to tour campus, meet with faculty, staff, and students from various academic and student life departments, and attend sessions on study abroad, transfer admission, financial aid/scholarship, and so much more!

    Location: The Lake Shore Campus

    Dates/times: Joins us on Oct. 29 at 9:00 AM CST, or Nov. 12 at 9:00 AM CST

    ONLINE INFO SESSIONS

    Transfer students who are unable to schedule an on-campus visit are encouraged to attend an online information session before or after applying to the University. The session will include information on the transfer admission and enrollment process, transfer credit policies and resources, and financial aid and scholarship opportunities.

    Dates/times: Oct. 6th at 5:30 PM CST, Nov. 22 at 5:30 PM CST, and Dec. 8 at 5:30 PM CST

    CAMPUS INFO SESSIONS

    Visit the Lake Shore Campus and attend a group presentation on transferring to Loyola. Learn about the University, program options, credit transfer, merit-based scholarship opportunities, and more. You can tour campus, meet a counselor from our Transfer Center and find out how you can make the change and be on path towards earning a Loyola degree.

    Location:Sullivan Center for Student Services, Room 150

  • TRANSFER APPOINTMENTS
  • Come for a personal overview of the transfer process and discuss your transfer plans, interests, and share any questions you have with a counselor from our Transfer Center. These individual meetings are offered Monday through Friday at the Lake Shore Campus and at the Water Tower Campus by appointment.

    LAKE SHORE CAMPUS

    Location: (LSC) Sullivan Center for Student Services

    Days/times available: Monday-Friday at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

    WATER TOWER CAMPUS

    Location: (WTC) Lewis Towers 4th floor, Suite 401

    Days/times available: Monday-Friday at 11 a.m., and 3 p.m.

    Note: Detailed academic advising and course registration for admitted transfer students occurs at Transfer Orientation, a day-long program for new students that takes place on designated dates prior to the start of each semester. Admitted transfer students who confirm with their intent to enroll by submitting a $500 enrollment deposit will receive details about Transfer Orientation and more.

  • ADMITTED STUDENT VISITS
  • ADMITTED TRANSFER STUDENTS APPOINTMENTS

    We offer individual appointments on select days where you can meet with a transfer center counselor to discuss your needs in detail related to transfer credits, remaining degree requirements and program duration, review your educational expenses and financial aid, and receive step-by-step instructions on your next steps.
