Readmitted

Welcome back. We're glad you're here

Readmission refers to students who were previously enrolled at Loyola as degree-seeking students and have earned credit in the past. If you are seeking readmission, you must complete a readmit application form.

Readmission application priority deadlines

July 1 for the fall semester (August start)
November 1 for the spring semester (January start)

If you have taken courses at another institution, you are required to submit transcripts from each school attended. Loyola readmission applications are not considered complete until all official documents are received. If you stepped out of Loyola for one semester only and have not taken courses elsewhere, you may contact your academic advisor directly. If you left for a semester and have taken one or more classes at another institution, or have been out more than one semester, you must submit the readmit application form. For additional information, please review the university's policy on readmission and the policy on permission to take coursework at another institution.

Readmit Scholarship Process

Readmit applicants who had received merit scholarships as part of their original acceptance to the university would be reviewed for merit scholarship at time of readmission through the Undergraduate Admission Office.

  • If a student left in good academic standing and did not take courses elsewhere, their merit scholarship, Jesuit/Catholic Heritage and/or Director’s awards will be reinstated at the original amount at the time of first admission.
  • If a student left in good academic standing and took courses at another institution, the student will be reviewed using the parameters for transfer scholarships for their new intended term, based on their new academic course information.
  • Students would not be eligible for merit scholarship if they are returning for a second bachelor’s degree.
