Loyola undergraduates may earn credit and/or advancement placement for college-level studies completed through the Advanced Placement (AP), College Level Examination Program (CLEP), and the International Baccalaureate (IB) examination. All AP and IB examinations must be completed before enrollment as a degree candidate.
New, first-time freshmen may receive up to 24 hours of credit by examination based on AP/IB/CLEP test results. If students also have additional transfer credit, the total of test score credit and transferable credit cannot exceed 24 semester hours.
