Maeve Kiley is director of communications at Loyola. She manages and oversees Loyola’s internal and external communications for the division of University Marketing and Communication.
Prior to Loyola, Maeve served as the director of corporate communications for Harris Bank/BMO Financial Group, a position she had held since 1999. In her role, she served as spokesperson, and was responsible for developing and implementing all of the external communications strategies for all of the lines of business, as well as for the CEO and management teams.
From 1994–1999, Maeve worked at Chicago public relations firms, primarily in the investor and corporate relations groups. She was an account supervisor at Kemper Lesnik Communications, representing corporate, consumer, and sports marketing clients including Monsanto, Starbucks, and Wilmington Trust. At Hill and Knowlton, Inc., she represented investor and corporate clients, including Illinois Bureau of Tourism, GE Capital Small Business Finance, TIAA-CREF, and Jackson National Life Insurance.
Maeve has a BA in Communications from the University of Arizona, and she also attended Loyola’s John Felice Rome Center for a year. Maeve was named PR Professional of the Year for Academic Institution by PRNews in 2007.
