Theatres

The Department of Theatre has two main performance spaces, both located in the Centennial Forum Student Union of Loyola University's Lake Shore Campus on the corner of Sheridan Road and Loyola Avenue across from the "Loyola" Red line El Stop.
THE KATHLEEN MULLADY MEMORIAL THEATRE
The Kathleen Mullady Memorial Theatre, a 297-seat proscenium style theater, is the Department of Theatre's main performance venue.
The theatre is wheelchair accessible and listening assistive devices will be provided upon request at the box office.
The department produces a Mainstage Performance Series consisting of three or four full productions and a number of special events and other programs each year. Being part of the lively theatre and arts scene in Chicago, we are able to incorporate the talents of many great theatre professionals in our productions.
The theatre is also host to a number of other University Events. During the summer months the theatre has been used by a number of professional theatre companies and community organizations.

STUDIO THEATRE
The Studio Theatre, located in the lower level of the Centennial Forum Student Union. An intimate black-box performance space, with flexible seating for up to 50. This theatre is the home to our Studio Performance Series.This theatre is not wheelchair accessible.
During the academic year, the Department of Theatre produces four fully student directed and designed productions. The Studio Theatre serves as our production laboratory. During the summer months the theatre is home to professional theatre productions and other special events.
