About

David J. Treering is Loyola’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist. He oversees the GIS facilities located in BVM Hall and University machines across the Lake Shore Campus.

David’s geographical and technological expertise allows faculty and students to conduct spatial analysis of environmental trends at a highly sophisticated level for research and decision-making processes. With a background in geography, he can help coordinate information from various disciplines as they relate to each research question.
