Tuition

Tuition is based on Loyola's standard 2012-2013 undergraduate rate of $675 per credit hour.

Technology / Activity Fee

The Technology/Activity fee is assessed by Loyol to provide students with free summer access to services at the Wellness CenterHalas Sport Center as well as use of the many computer labs on campus such as the Information Commons. For more information on the technology fee, please see the ITS FAQs page.

Program Fee

Each student will be charged an associated program fee to underwrite the cost of extramural activities, student transportation and to compensate dedicated staff for their supervision of the program.

Difference between a RESIDENTIAL vs. COMMUTER student?

A RESIDENTIAL student is someone who stays in the residence hall on campus for the duration of the program. Living in the residence hall offers students the opportunity to take part in more activities, helps students to bond with fellow classmates and ensure each student have the freedom of a real college experience. That being said, s/he must abide by all the policies and procedures set forth by program staff such as supervision and curfew.

A COMMUTER student does not live on campus, but chooses to live at home with their parents and/or guardians. These students must manage their time wisely in order to arrive on time to class as well as allocating travel time to make it home at a safe hour. As one would expect, their total program cost is often less than a residential student due to the fact that they are not paying for housing, a meal plan and other misc. expenses. These students may not live on campus, but are always welcome to attend any programs, events or activities we plan during their program. Review the 2012 Activity Calendar to get an idea of the kinds of events we plan.
