She has been a member of the Loyola community since 2006 developing various pre-college summer programs for high school students. As Coordinator, Karladora designs, implements, and maintains the daily functions of each Pre-College Summer Scholars program.
Originally from Arizona, she moved to Chicago in 2005 to earn her M.Ed in Higher Education from Loyola University Chicago, specializing in Student Affairs. Her previous youth-oriented summer career includes positions with Suffolk University's Summer Institutes, the Institute for the Academic Advancement of Youth program (specifically the Center for the Talented Youth programs at Johns Hopkins University, Stanford University, and Mount Holyoke College), and Arizona State University's Summer Bridge Program.
Karladora's interest and passion stem from a commitment to create opportunities for high schools students which allow them to grow both intellectually and socially.
