Study abroad is an experience you can't afford to miss. The Office for International Programs (OIP) is hosting an event called "Keep the Change and Change the World" to showcase affordable study abroad programs. Step inside the CASH CUBE to grab some money and get ready to change your world by studying abroad!
Event details: Change your perception that studyin abroad is too expensive. Students who can debunk myths about study abroad expenses will be able to enter the Cash Cube for a chance to collect as much money as possible! For every piece of funny money you collect in the time allotted, you will be awarded one equivalent USD bill. For example, 10 pieces of funny money = $10.
Learn about affordable program options, scholarship and financial aid opportunities, and debunk myths about the cost of studying aborad! OIP staff will be onsite to provide information and help you consider investing in your future by studying abroad.
Eligibility: Only Loyola students may participate. Students may enter the cash cube after "debunking" one myth about study abroad. Students may only enter the cash cube once. Students will not be allowed to collect funny money off the cash cube floor. Students must provide their LUC ID and contact information in order to receive price money. OIP reserves the right to disqualify or refuse award money to students who violate the rules of this event.
All students participating in a study abroad program are required to attend an orientation held on campus. Orientation typically takes place in April for students going abroad in the summer or fall and in November for students going abroad in the spring. At this event, students will gain valuable and practical information about your upcoming experience. OIP will send details through e-mail.
