World War II
On Saturday November 19th, the group traveled to the Cimitero Militare Germanico in Pomezia to experience a German military cemetery in Italy. Next the group spent some time at Piana Delle Orme, a historic park designed that contains a large collection of war artifacts, giving an insight into daily life during the war, and into the American landing and ally takeover of Italy from initial invasion to the end of the war and liberation.
