Dr. Crawley came to the University and the School following a six year period abroad: 1992-1999. During a two-year Fulbright Scholars Program appointment, she developed an MSW program in southern Africa. She then worked for the Austrian-based SOS Kinderdorf International social service organization developing and administering a staff training center in southern Africa. Her research interests include international social work, transnational women issues, adult education and training, and policy issues related to gerontology, older women, and African American elderly.
