Advanced Domestic Violence Counseling with Diverse Populations
Domestic violence is being recognized as a problem in more communities and particular populations. And within these special populations, the identification of, response to, and intervention needs vary widely. A certificate program that provides advanced knowledge on domestic violence is not available in the Chicago area. There are only three other programs across the nation and none of them have emerged from a social work perspective.
