Objectives:

• Understanding the application of different intervention modalities to work with older adults, couples, families, and groups

• Developing improved decision-making regarding choices of modalities in work with older adults

• Developing skills to integrate methods and modalities in work with older adults and families regarding care plans, management of chronic illness, dementia, and more

Mon., August 4th:     Narrative Therapy and the Art of Storytelling

Tues., August 5th:    Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Interventions - forming relationships and completing tasks

Wed., August 6th:    Psychodynamic Interventions - using relationships as a vehicle for change

Thurs., August 7th:  Family Therapy/Systems - Healing Through Family

Fri., August 8th:       Creative Arts Interventions & Special Populations

 

Fees:

General admission: $90/day

Alumni: $60/day

Field instructors or Adjunct faculty: $30/day
