Meghan Ashbrock joined the staff of the School of Communication as Event Coordinator and Office
Assistant in August 2012. Previously as Special Projects Coordinator, she coordinated SOC’s high school outreach programs, which helped develop journalism and media programs for underserved Chicago Public Schools.
Ashbrock is also coordinating community outreach for a V-Day 11.11.11, a documentary on US veterans shot on Veterans’ Day in 2011. The Documentary is produced and edited by SOC faculty members Associate Professor Aaron Greer and John Goheen.
She is thrilled to continue her tenure at the SOC as the Event Coordinator, connecting students with ways to engage outside of their discipline and connect to the Loyola community.
She is a proud graduate of Loyola University Chicago and the John Felice Rome Center. Ashbrock graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Psychology. As an undergraduate, she held leadership positions in higher education on campus, as well as public relations and development positions in her native Cincinnati.
In her spare time, you can find Meghan reading and writing, attempting to hike all of the National Parks, volunteering with high school students, and plotting ways to get back to Rome. She looks forward to a career in higher education and student development.
