I am taking the Metra/CTA to get downtown. How far away is the train station?

The CTA Red Line subway stops next to Loyola at Chicago and State (the Chicago Station). The CTA Blue line goes to O'Hare Airport; take the CTA Red Line south to Lake Station and transfer to the Blue Line. The CTA Orange line goes to Midway Airport: take the CTA Red Line south to Lake and switch from the subway to the elevated platform. Reverse directions to come to the campus.

The closest Metra stations are Union Station or Ogilvie Transportation Center. From the Metra stations, you can board the #151 bus and get off at Michigan and Pearson St., two blocks away from 51 East Pearson. If you choose to walk from Union or Ogilvie Stations, it's about a 35-40 minute walk.
