Is there a faculty member you want to get to know better? Do you have questions for your academic advisor, but your appointment is too short? Do you want to better connect with your professors and/or your academic advisor? The Out-to-Lunch program is designed to promote faculty/academic advisors and undergraduate student interaction. Undergraduate students can take their professors or academic advisors out to lunch for free. Find a professor or academic advisor that you want to take out to lunch and Second Year Experience will pick up the tab!
The Out to Lunch program, hosted by Second Year Experience at Loyola, is designed to encourage both students and their faculty and advisors at Loyola to take part in meaningful and substantive conversations about major selection, major/career discernment, and curricular and co-curricular areas of interest. By doing so, it is our hope that Loyola students can develop and maintain mentorships with faculty and advisors to enhance the Loyola Experience while also preparing them to be confident in their abilities to lead extraordinary lives.
