The B.B.A. in Human Resource Management degree program emphasizes interpersonal skills and the theory and techniques of selecting, training, organizing, motivating and evaluating people in work settings.

The School of Business Administration's human resource management major strives to instill in students a socially responsible managerial philosophy that seeks to prepare students for the responsibility of directing employees toward attaining their personal as well as organizational goals. All students are given the opportunity to understand business enterprise from the viewpoint of general management.

Loyola University Chicago's Human Resource Employment Relations Department offers a broad and flexible curriculum that prepares students for human resource positions in a variety of organizations.

The faculty of the    Human Resource and Employment Relations Department is committed not only to teaching courses that provide the knowledge and skills necessary for serving as a human resource professional, but also to creating a supportive environment for personal development and ethical reflection.

   

Degree Requirements

In addition to Core Curriculum and Business Core Curriculum requirements, students pursuing the B.B.A. degree in human resource management must complete 15 credit hours in the following courses:
