Introduction to Sakai

This 90-minute, online, instructor led, introductory session provides an overview of the Sakai system.  Participants will learn; how to navigate within Sakai, customize a course structure, add and organize course content, learn about communication and collaboration tools, and apply assessment strategies such as assignments and grading.  There are no fees or pre-requisites to participate in this session, but having a basic understanding of Blackboard or other course managment systems will be helpful.  While this session is of "introductory" nature and participants will not be required to use the system during the session, participants will be able to "follow along" within Sakai if they prefer.  The course outline is below:
