Advanced Sakai Topics
This two hour, online, instructor led, introductory session provides an "in-depth" look at some specific tools within the Sakai system. Participants will learn; more specifics around adding content to their workspace and sites, managing groups, administering tests and quizzes, facilitating communication, and getting the most out of assignments, the grade book, and course statistics. There are no fees or pre-requisites to participate in these sessions, but having a basic understanding of Sakai or other course managment systems will be helpful. These sessions will be "hands-on" and participants will be required to use Sakai and modify content during the session. The course outlines are below:
