About
Andrea Pacor received his PhD in American Studies from the University of Kansas. His research focuses on the construction of individual identity as a political act, in relation to national identity and sovereign power in the modern nation state. In particular, his work examines how identity is constructed in autobiography, fiction, and poetry produced in relation to the Japanese American interment in the United States, during the Second World War. Other research interests include Raymond Carver and African-American slavery narratives. Andrea Pacor currently teaches English and American literature, literary theory, and English composition.
