About

Ippolita Conestabile was born in Rome. She studied Italian History and Literature and she graduaded in Contemporary Italian Literature from the Università degli Studi di Roma “La Sapienza”. In 1996 Ippolita started to work  in the social field giving an hand at the integration of  Nomad children in the italian grade school in a Programme of the Comune di Roma. In the same year, after a Diploma in Teaching Italian as a Second Language at Torre di Babele School and numerous trainings at Dilit International House of Rome, she began her career in Rome teaching Italian Language. In the last 15 years she has taught in Religious (and academic) environment, Università Urbaniana and Pontifical Swiss Guards, in International Cultural Organizations, American Academy and Spanish Academy, in Study abroad Programs in Rome, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, University of Washington and John Cabot University, in FAO, U.N. agency in Rome.

She also has experience in educational training and in the creation and field trial of materials for teaching Italian, collaborating with authors of various publications in Italy.
