World War II Study Trip

The students of the JFRC were reunited once again with the dynamic duo of JFRC alumni and military experts, Jim Centner (retired naval officer) and Phil O’Connor (President at PROactive Startegies, Inc.) as they led a group of nearly 40 students to some of Italy’s most historically significant WWII sites. The two-day trip began on Saturday with a trip to the German military cemetery in Pomezia. Here students were able to take in the style in which the Germans buried and honored their fallen soldiers, and were taught how to pick up clues from the markings on the graves to determine how certain battles may have occurred.
