On October 6th about 20 students, Student Life Assistant Cristina Cavalieri, Associate Dean of Students Cindy Bombem, Associate director of Operations and Administration Marilyn Vitale, Vice President and Director Emilio Iodice, Facilities and Project Manager Fausto Fecchio, Manager of Information Technology and Services Maurizio Moretti, Maintenance Andrea Stornelli, Italian Professor Elena Faramondi, Professor Flaminio Di Biagi, Professor Anna Wingenter, Professor Alexander Evers, and Internship Cordinator Nadia Cristiani congregated in the Camera dei Deputati in the Palazzo Marini to honor three former John Felice Rome Center students; Christina Bernardi, Ryan Pilipow, Matthew Zundel.

The students received one of the most important awards of academic achievement that exist. These former John Felice Rome Center students received a metal awarded to them on behalf of the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano. Also receiving awards for helping breach the gaps from Italy to the United States were Laura Biagiotti, Stilist, Lapo Elkann, President of Italia Independent, Edward Luttwak, economist, Jessica Polsky, actress and singer, Antonio Campo Dall’Orto, vicepresidet of MTV Networks International, Renato Lauro, director of the Universiti Roma Tor Vergata, Rinaldo Petrignani, president of Boeing Italia, Carlo Rossella, president of Medusa. Lastly, a special award to the memory of Mike Bongiorno, Tv host. After the award ceremony the current John Felice Rome center students went out for a large meal near the Trevi Fountaint at L’Archetto restaurant. The Professors, staff, and Christina Bernardi, Ryan Pilipow, Matthew Zundel went to celebrate at Vladamiro Restaurant.
