Mass of the Holy Spirit
On September 12, the John Felice Rome Center (JFRC) continued its tradition of celebrating the Mass of the Holy Spirit in the historic Chiesa Sant’Ignazio in the center of Rome. The JFRC’s community of priests, students, faculty, and staff gathered in the collegiate, Jesuit tradition of inaugurating the academic year with the invocation of the Holy Spirit. Fr. Al Anuszewski, O.SS.T, the JFRC’s Director of Campus Ministry, celebrated the Mass with Fr. Ted Bohr, SJ and Fr John Chandler, SJ con-celebrating. Sean Barry (LUC), Ian Rogers (LUC), and Nicholas Verzino (LUC) served in the Mass, as did several other students who assisted with cantoring, reading, and presenting the gifts. Following the Mass, the JFRC gathered together for a four-course community dinner near Piazza Navona.
