Study Trips
TAKE A BREAK
The John Felice Rome Center offers educational travel excursions each semester over the winter holiday and during fall and spring breaks as well as short day trips in Italy on select weekends. Each excursion is accompanied by a faculty or staff member. The itineraries are prepared with both academic and cultural interests in mind.
Among the offerings you'll find through the JFRC:
- Classical Greece: This JFRC tradition includes stops in Athens, the island of Mykonos, and archaeological sites, such as the Acropolis, Delphi, and Sparta.
- Belfast: Conflict resolution is a growing field of study. Explore how and why religious, ethnic, and cultural differences undelie conflict in Northern Ireland--and how to build lasting peace.
- Tunisia: A trip to this northern African country offers deeper understanding into the Arab world and Muslim society. Highlights include an overnight camping trip in the Sahara and a camel trek through the desert.
