Expert faculty members with the highest academic degrees teach JFRC courses. Professors are either visiting for a year from the home campus of Loyola University Chicago or are scholars and professionals residing in Rome.
The average class size is 18-22 to allow for intimate discussion and individualized student-professor interaction.
The JFRC also offers various on-site courses held at historical and archaeological locations in and near Rome. Except for the Italian courses, all classes are taught in English.
Visiting scholars provide supplemental evening lectures several times each semester. In addition, faculty members conduct weekend tours for students to places of interest in Italy.
JFRC staff members are committed to making students' experiences as rewarding as possible. Professionals offer assistance to ensure students' intellectual, physical, and emotional well-being.
