Description: 
Friday Night
5:00    Arrival - getting settled.
5:30    Introduction to Center; Br. David Darst; John Baptist De LaSalle; Retreat Team
5:45    Opening Prayer (move to Chapel)
6:10    Discussion of Catholic Social Teaching (common room)
6:25    Exploration of social problems that exist today - as listed by students.
6:35    Activity: demonstrates the natural inclination to label, to "box people in."
7:00    Dinner
7:35    Clean-up
8:30    Depart for Northside Housing, formerly Lakeview Shelter, a men's shelter on Addison Avenue on the north side of Chicago. The students visit with the men, sharing stories and playing games.
Return to Darst Center
11:00    Night Prayer
12:00    Lights out.

SATURDAY
8:30    Breakfast
9:15    Moprning Prayer
9:30    Depart for San Miguel Tutoring (10AM - 1PM)
1:30    Lunch
Clean-up
Free Time
3:00    Depart for Su Casa Catholic Worker, a shelter for Latino families.
4:00    Organize activities for Children at Su Casa
6:15    Dinner at Su Casa
Clean-up
7:30    Depart back for Darst Center
8:30    Evening Program: Presentation and Discussion "Works of Mercy" versus "Social Action"
Free Time
12:00    Lights Out

SUNDAY
8:30    Breakfast
9:00    Packing and Clean-up
9:45    Depart for Mass at St. Benedict the African
10:30    Mass
12:00    Depart for Darst Center
12:30    Closing and Departure
