| Description: | |
| Attending a four year University for the first time is a big step for many students. To assist in this transition, 30 first year students who identify as a student of color, bi/multi-racial, first generation, and/or LGBTQI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex) are invited to attend a three night retreat at the Loyola University Retreat and Ecology Campus (LUREC). Through sharing stories, intercultural exploration, and connecting with new friends, this retreat will provide the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with peers, current students, and staff. Join us for a fun, interactive, and reflective retreat as you begin creating your community at Loyola. | ![]() |
