Lauren Hibbard

Meet Lauren Hibbard, Student office assistant, & Student - Athlete!

Lauren Hibbard

*What do you do in Residence Life?*

I am a student office assistant. We answer phone calls and emails from parents and students who have questions regarding housing.

*What do you enjoy most about working at a Jesuit university?*

I love how close, caring, and accepting all my coworkers are. They really live by Loyola’s core values.

*How do you interact with students?*

I interact with students over the phone, through email, and in person. I help with a variety of conflicts that can come about when living within the residence hall. Whether it be a roommate conflict, lost key, or registering for housing, our department aims to help students as best as we can. The SOA position allows students, like me, to help with a variety of issues students may encounter while at the university.

*What On Campus organizations were you a part of during your college
years?*

I am a student athlete on the women’s basketball team.

*Where will you be in 5 years?*

In five years I hope to be a couple years into my career as either a counselor or child clinical psychologist.
