Intercontinental MBA Program
This one-year, full-time program begins August 12, 2013, in Chicago, and the program admits new students to fall term only.
Application Process
To apply, you must submit a completed application form and the supporting materials by the appropriate deadline. Qualified candidates will be contacted and invited to interview with the program director. Interviews are by invitation only and are granted only to applicants who have completed their application file. Decisions will be communicated by mail and through our online application status check.

Official transcripts
Applicants must submit official transcripts for all undergraduate and any graduate work. To be eligible for admission, your transcript must show an earned bachelor’s degree or a bachelor’s degree in progress. Certified copies of transcripts are acceptable; faxed copies of transcripts are not considered official. If you attended Loyola University Chicago previously, you do not need to request transcripts; we have them on record. -
Two letters of recommendation
If you supply your recommender’s e-mail address as part of your completed online application form, then your recommendation letters may be submitted online. Or your recommenders may choose to mail them to:

We ask that you submit only two letters—no more, no less. Recommenders may be academic or professional in nature. -
A statement of purpose
Please discuss how the School of Business Administration at Loyola University Chicago and our focus on responsible leadership will prepare you for your career and why you have chosen this program. Your statement should be two to three pages in length, double-spaced.

Application Fee
A $50 application fee is required for applications submitted by mail. If you complete the online application form, the application fee is waived.
International students

Language Test Requirement
An official TOEFL or IELTS score report is required for international applicants whose native language is not English. Copies and faxes are not accepted as official documents; we must receive test scores directly from the testing service. The minimum acceptable total score on the Internet-Based Test of the TOEFL exam is 90. The minimum acceptable total score on the IELTS exam is 6.5.
This requirement is waived for those who have completed a four-year U.S. bachelor's degree program or those who are citizens of or have completed a bachelor's degree at a recognized institution at which the language of instruction is English in these countries: Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand. -
Transcript Evaluation
Applicants who completed post-secondary education abroad are required to submit non-U.S. transcripts to Educational Credential Evaluators Inc. for evaluation of credentials. You must request a course-by-course transcript evaluation, and it must show that your non-U.S. education is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree to be considered for admission.
