Programs

There are pre-reading assignments for most programs. You will receive this information with your confirmation materials one week before your class.

A laptop is optional. A calculator is required for some programs. This information will be sent to you with your confirmation materials.

Most classes have between 20–30 participants.

Group work is scheduled during the day. We make every effort to leave your evenings free.

For most programs, homework involves pre-class reading to prepare for the next day; you should anticipate one hour of reading per three hours of class.

Registration & Payment Policies

Classes can sell out months in advance of the program date, so we encourage you to register early. Please feel free to contact our office at 312.915.6781 to check on the status of open seats for any particular session.

Substitutions of registrants in a program may be made, without penalty, any time prior to the program's commencement.

If you wish to transfer, send written notification to our office providing the name of the participant and the course and date from which the participant is transferring. Transfer requests made at least 14 calendar days prior to the first day of the program will be accommodated but will incur a processing fee of $50. No transfers may be made within 14 calendar days of the start of the program.

Transferees will have one year from the date of their initial transfer request to attend a subsequent offering. After a one year period, registration fees will be forfeited. Transferees will be required to pay fee increases, should any take place.

If you wish to cancel, send written notification to our office providing the name of the participant and the course and date from which the participant is canceling. Cancellations made at least 14 calendar days prior to the start of the program will receive a full refund minus a $50 processing fee. Cancellations made less than 14 calendar days before the first day of the program are subject to the full program fee.

A missed certificate session may be made up through attendance in a similar program session as determined by the Executive and Professional Education Center. The make-up must be completed within one year and there is a $50 transfer fee per session to cover administrative costs.
