Alyson Ryan

Alyson Ryan, Director since January 2012, manages the operations, staff development, strategy, and student and employer career-related services for Business Career Services at the Quinlan School of Business. She joined Loyola after 13 years as a campus recruiting professional at American Express, PwC and KPMG. Alyson has an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and Master's degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. She is an avid Wolverine, Cubs, Patriots, Daily Show, and Springsteen fan.


Julie Sells

Julie Sells, Assistant Director of Business Career Services, has provided career advising services and programs for Quinlan students and supported employer-related services since 2008. Julie has professional experience in university career services, healthcare, business and non-profit organizations, has taught an interdisciplinary internship class and been engaged in leadership within a variety of professional associations. Julie holds a Master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has completed graduate course work and certifications in career, leadership and organization development. She enjoys art, music and natural environments.


Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith, Assistant Director, has been working with Quinlan undergraduates, graduate students and alumni to articulate their career goals and make them a reality since 2009. Ryan also facilitates career education events and workshops. Before Loyola, Ryan served as a career counselor at Roosevelt University and Jobs for Youth Chicago. He obtained his undergraduate degree from State University of New York College at Fredonia and his Master's degree from Emerson College. Ryan currently is in the business of merging his artistic vision and entrepreneurial spirit into performance projects that offer a greater return on investment and more value add.


Elizabeth Globke

Elizabeth Globke, began in the new position of Assistant Director for Employer Relations and Special Events, in February 2012. She develops and maintains relationships with employers, manages the on-campus recruiting program, and plans and executes career fairs and other special events. Elizabeth's background is in campus recruiting with KPMG and Huron Consulting Group. Elizabeth has an undergraduate degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. She loves to travel, volunteer, and a good cup of coffee.


Alana Aldort

Administrative Assistant since July 2012, provides customer service for students and employers as well as logistical support for Quinlan Business Career Services. After 15 years in museum retail, she chose Loyola to begin her second career that utilizes her extensive background in customer service and operations management. Alana has an undergraduate degree from the College of Idaho and a Master's degree from the University of Notre Dame. She enjoys visiting museums, watching old movies and running with her dog.
