What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Exploring a new part of the world with my husband and daughter.

What is your greatest fear?
To lose my eyesight.

Which talent would you most like to have?
To draw.

Who are your heroes in real life?
Anna Wintour and Oprah Winfrey.

What qualities do you most admire in business professionals?
Professionalism, good manners, and timeliness.

Which qualities do you dislike?
Having to deal with egos.

What is the best advice you can offer to young women and men as they start their career?
Always have a plan. The plan can change, but always have a plan.

Your top three networking tips?

  1. Write down on the back of a business card how you met the person and any pertinent details about them. It's easier to strike up a conversation six months or even a year later if you remember details about the person.
  2. Always thank someone for taking the time to meet/call/speak to you.
  3. Be prepared to ask someone a personal question ("I'm going to LA next week. Have you ever been?") as well as a professional question ("How long have you been in your line of work?").
