Loyola University Chicago

Department of Psychology

Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology

Thank you for your interest in the clinical psychology doctoral program at Loyola University Chicago.

As you may know, admission to our program is highly competitive. Although we receive a large number of applications each year, please be assured that we personally review each application. Careful preparation of your application is therefore important and can significantly enhance the likelihood of your being accepted into the program.

Once the application deadline has been reached (December 1), our selection procedure proceeds quickly. Based on the materials you submit to us, we narrow our selection to a final group of applicants who are invited for personal interviews. Each year we set aside two Fridays in February for these interviews. If you are in the final group of applicants being considered for admission, you will be contacted and invited to come to Loyola on one of these days to interview, meet our faculty and students, and learn more about the Program. This is a full day process so you may want to plan your schedule so that you can be available for an interview.

We appreciate your interest in Loyola and look forward to receiving your application materials.
