Towing Policy
1. The decision to tow a vehicle will not be taken lightly. In most cases the Campus Police will make every effort to contact the owner/operator in an attempt to get the vehicle moved prior to towing. There are, however, certain circumstances where towing will be justified without prior notice. These include:
- Vehicles blocking a legally parked vehicle
- Vehicles parked in emergency lanes
- Vehicles illegally parked in a resident lot
- Vehicles illegally parked on Loyola property after 2:00 a. m.
- Vehicles with two or more unresolved parking citations and/or unresolved citations older than 90 days will be placed on the Loyola Tow List.
- Vehicles on Loyola's Tow List will be towed even if legally parked in Loyola's lots.
- Vehicles will remain on the tow list until all citations are resolved.
