LLM in Health Law
Loyola's Master of Laws in Health Law degree provides attorneys with the opportunity to gain a sophisticated knowledge of the laws and regulations that govern the health care industry. Students may choose to complete course-work online or on-campus, but all students must come to Loyola's Chicago campus at the end of the program for an Education Immersion Weekend.
MJ in Business and Corporate Governance Law
Loyola's Master of Jurisprudence (M.J.) in Business and Corporate Governance Law is a two-year part time online degree program for business professionals who want to better understand the legal context of business law. MJ candidates will enjoy a curriculum focused on current real world business and legal issues: they will learn business and corporate governance law and develop the skills they need to explore and create proactive solutions within a business and regulatory context. The M.J. in Business and Corporate Governance Law courses focus generally on business and corporate governance classes. The degree is applicable to almost any public or private sector industry, as well as the not-for-profit world, and is particularly relevant in the regulatory climate in which financially focused businesses operate such as banks, broker-dealer and commodities firms, investment banks, hedge funds, private equity firms, venture capital firms and any publicly traded company.
MJ in Children's Law and Policy
Loyola's Master of Jurisprudence (M.J.) in Children's Law and Policy is an online degree program for professionals who work with children and families in a variety of disciplines and fields of practice, including social work, education, health care, and the justice system. The two-year part-time master's degree program is designed to provide individuals with a firm understanding of law and policy as they affect children and families and to prepare graduates for leadership positions in their fields. The program can be completed completely online, but students are required to attend one Education Immersion Weekend at the Civitas ChildLaw Center in Chicago, Illinois.
MJ in Health Law
The MJ in Health Law is designed exclusively for health care professionals who do not wish to practice law or sit for a bar exam but rather, wish to learn the specific laws and regulations that govern health care. The entirely online program is divided into learning modules that consist of: writing and reading assignments, essay exams, quizzes, live synchronous classes, audio and video lectures, and bulletin postings.
