Abstract: Catholic healthcare facilities need to provide a timely way to address clinical ethics bedside challenges. We'll explore the values and resources of the Catholic tradition, especially as evidenced in the USCCB's Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services. Moreover, a panel of ethicists will analyze a common clinical case confronting care givers and explore approaches to resolution. Finally, we'll look at the realities such as resource and structural limitations that impede the providing of timely and supportive ethics services within ministry organizations.
