Visiting Students

Undergraduate Students

Visiting students must apply and be admitted to Loyola as a non-degree student before enrolling in an online course.

Application instructions: To apply, please click on the Apply Now link. If you have applied to, or have attended Loyola in the past, please log in as a returning user and use your email address to reset your password. If this is your first time applying to Loyola, click new user. Once in the application, please select the application Visiting/Non-degree Application. Complete and submit the application.

Please note that summer visiting students do not need to submit official transcripts to be admitted to Loyola for Summer Sessions. This portion of the application will be waived for visiting students only. This does not apply to non-degree 2014 fall students or transfer students.

Graduate Students

Application requirements for graduate and non-degree seeking students are different for each school or department. For more information, visit the Graduate and Professional Enrollment Management program listing.

International Students

International students who complete the online application may also need to complete the following items in order to enroll in online courses:

  1. If your native language is not English and/or if your primary language of instruction has not been English, you may be required to take the TOEFL or IELTS language tests. The minimum score for TOEFL is 79 (iBT), and the minimum score for IELTS is 6.5.
  2. If you are an F-1 or J-1 student, please complete the Declaration of Finances form and submit it with proof of financial resources showing your ability to cover expenses for your time at Loyola.
