Research Interests

Research & Service
Dr. Pucci’s professional activities center on design and evaluation of health care quality improvement initiatives and planning and execution of health policy. She is actively involved with the Institute for the Advancement of Home Care Medicine, serves as a reviewer for Journal of Burn Care & Research and is a peer reviewer for the National Institute of Disability and Rehabilitation Research. Dr. Pucci is a strong advocate for improving health care for people with disabilities, having published and spoken on this topic, and serves on numerous boards and committees related to disability and health care.

Teaching

Dr. Pucci teaches in the undergraduate and graduate health systems management programs. Her teaching includes courses in comparative effectiveness research, outcomes performance methodology, health care leadership and policy, health care in America and the capstone course in health systems management. She has been instrumental in developing new coursework at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Pucci has much experience with educational training grants in the health professions having served in numerous project roles for HRSA funded grants.
